Mogollon Mech

Discover the STEM in Scouting by joining us for Camp Geronimo’s newest program designed for older youth. Where else can you earn your engineering merit badge while participating in great activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, stand up paddleboarding, and archery? Scouts will also have the opportunity to earn their aviation merit badge while exploring Arizona Rim Country via drone and RC plane. This is a great opportunity for older youth looking to experience the best Camp Geronimo has to offer through a different perspective. 

Who should attend?

Any registered Scout who is at least 13 years old by the start of camp.

Mogollon Mech participants will participate in the following activities: 

  • Archery 
  • Aviation & RC Drone Flying 
  • Mountain Biking 
  • Rock Climbing 
  • Stand Up Paddleboarding

Mogollon Mech is a provisional program, which means Scouts will not be staying with their troops. Instead, the participants will camp together under the leadership of the staff.

Scouts who attend Mogollon Mech will earn their Engineering and Aviation merit badges.
