As a member of our staff, you will live at Camp Geronimo for the entire season, providing meaningful and exciting experiences to thousands of Scouts every summer. If you’re looking for a job that is both challenging and the most fun you’ve ever had, Camp Geronimo is the place for you.
Outside of merit badge classes, camp life is something truly special. There is no better way to spend your summer than in the Mogollon Rim surrounded by your best friends.
Staff Requirements & Job Descriptions
Unfortunately, we cannot regularly employ youth under the age of 16. We do have a program for Scouts ages 14-15 to get a behind the scenes look at Camp Programs and training in instructional leadership so that they can be prepared to work as camp staff.
If you or your 14-15 year old Scout are interested in camp opportunities, please refer to our Counselor in Training (CIT) program.
Merit Badge Counselor – Our traditional staff role for Scouts aged 16+ , this should be the role that most youth aged 16-17 should apply for.
Program area Directors and Camp Admin roles are 21+ in most cases, but some areas allow 18+.
